Here’s your opportunity to learn about saxophone repair in specially designed lessons. Consider taking multiple lessons covering a variety of topics, or just meet one time to cover something you’re really interested in. Basic repair and maintenance, high-level repair techniques, and even Q&A are welcome subject matter! Strongly recommend proposing specific topics to cover when setting up lessons. Lessons will take place via Zoom. Saxocentric 101 - University Repair Workshop - $150.00 Interested in an insightful saxophone repair and maintenance workshop for your university saxophone studio? Visiting colleges and universities across the country is one of the highlights of my career. Workshops typically run 60-90 minutes and cover a variety of saxophone care, maintenance, basic repair, and entrepreneurship topics. Additionally, I am happy to offer on-site repair services during my visit - including repairs on university-owned and student’s personal saxophones. Repairs will be estimated and billed to the university or student directly. Saxocentric Institute - 3-Day Hands-On Experience - $750.00 Spend 3 full days working alongside Matt in the Saxocentric Repair Shop in Atlanta, GA. Participants will be guided through a variety of repair topics, including basic instrument repair and maintenance, saxophone mechanics, pad and material installation, saxophone setup, and more! Leave the planning to Matt, or propose specific topics to create your very own, unique experience! Participants are welcome to bring multiple saxophones of their choice, though a student model or back-up instrument is highly recommended for initial practice. Out-of-commission/parts horns will be available for practicing techniques covered. Participants responsible for all travel, housing, and meal expenses.
