Designed to protect the lower lip of single reed players. Long hours and sharp lower teeth can often lead to discomfort for the reed player. The Lagan Lip Saver is designed to smooth out the surface that the lower lip rests on, allowing a more comfortable experience while performing and practicing.
Unlike other alternatives (EZO, medical tape, etc), the LLS provides a smooth, semi-firm surface allowing for optimal comfort and performance. The soft nature of these other materials can alter the feel of the mouthpiece and embouchure, supporting bad habits and poor technique.
Users can expect one Lagan Lip Saver to last well over a year. Store in provided container when not in use. Clean as needed with a mild detergent and lukewarm water. LLS is not dishwasher safe.
2-pack can used in a variety of ways:
- Keep one as a back up in case of loss
- Stack both to create a thicker cushion if desired
- Combine side by side to cover more teeth
*Not recommended for use with braces or other orthodontics. LLS can harden wrapped around these appliances, prohibiting the easy, slide-off removal from the teeth.
